An independent detailed study into the performance of leading print management software on the market today tested using three of the markets leading print devices. The testing focused on products that provide “roaming printing” (also known as “follow you”, “follow me”, “secure release” or “pull” printing) by various vendors using embedded technology on a Multifunctional device.

Methodology and Content
bradham360 and NewField IT installed and tested Six software solutions and scored them against each other in the key aspects of functionality and technical strength on embedded platforms and as server based solutions.
The findings were scored and rated according to a rigorous test plan with objective measurements wherever possible. The results were summarised and categorised allowing each solution to be scored. The scores were also weighted against specific customer requirements in the Education sector, Small and Medium Business and the Enterprise environments, to allow customers in those sectors to make an informed choice as to which solution would best meet their business need.
This report is the result of over 340 hours of testing in our independent laboratory of the following print management tools:
- Safecom (G2)
- Equitrac (Office/Express)
- Papercut
- Pcounter
- Ringdale (FollowMe)
- Pharos Uniprint (and Uniprint enhanced with EMOS)
Each Solution was tested on hardware devices from Xerox, Konica Minolta and Hewlett-Packard. Care was taken to ensure all products were tested in identical conditions.
